Questions, answered.
Do you come to our location?
Yes. We train onsite throughout New Jersey. Manikins, AED trainers and all course materials are included; you provide the room and the people.
How long is the certification valid?
AHA and HSI CPR, AED and first aid cards are valid for two years. Bloodborne pathogens training is different: OSHA requires it every year for staff with exposure risk. We'll remind you when your group's renewal is coming due.
Which course do we need — BLS or Heartsaver?
BLS Provider is the clinical-grade card for healthcare and EMS staff. Heartsaver CPR & AED is for workplaces and the general public. Not sure? Tell us your team's roles and we'll point you to the right one, or compare them on the courses page.
How many people do we need for an onsite session?
There's no large minimum. Onsite sessions are quoted by headcount, and the per-person rate drops for bigger groups. Locations more than about 25 miles from Plainsboro include travel in the quote, so the number you see is the number you pay.
Are the cards accepted by employers?
AHA and HSI cards are nationally recognized and widely accepted by employers and licensing bodies, and the Heartsaver and HSI workplace courses are designed to meet OSHA training requirements. If your employer or board names a specific card, tell us and we'll match it.
Do you train individuals or only groups?
We focus on onsite group training for teams and organizations, but small groups and families are welcome too. Get in touch and we'll find a fit.
