Heartsaver CPR & AED for workplaces and community groups.

Adult CPR and AED use, with child and infant options — the course most employers mean when they say staff need CPR.

Who it's for

Office and warehouse teams, teachers and coaches, fitness instructors, security and facilities staff, caregivers, and anyone who wants to be ready for a cardiac emergency without needing a clinical card.

What your team practices

  • Recognizing cardiac arrest and getting help fast
  • High-quality chest compressions and rescue breaths
  • Using an AED — ideally the one on your own wall
  • Child and infant CPR (optional modules)
  • Relief of choking

AHA or HSI

We teach this as AHA Heartsaver CPR AED or the HSI equivalent. Both are nationally recognized; if your employer specifies one, we'll match it.

OSHA and CPR. OSHA requires employers to have people adequately trained in first aid where medical care isn't close by, and some OSHA standards specifically call for CPR. Heartsaver and HSI courses are designed to meet these workplace training requirements.

Why train onsite

Training in your own building means practicing where an emergency would actually happen: where the AED hangs, how EMS gets in, who calls 911. A single session gets the whole team carded on the same day instead of scattering them across public classes. Most workplaces pair it with First Aid.

FAQ

Heartsaver CPR & AED questions.

Does Heartsaver CPR & AED cover children and infants?

Adult CPR and AED are the core of the course. Child and infant modules can be added for schools, daycares, camps and parents; tell us who your staff care for.

Is Heartsaver enough for nurses or dental assistants?

Usually not. Clinical roles generally need BLS Provider. If you're unsure, send us the wording from your employer or board.

Does OSHA require CPR training?

OSHA requires employers to have people adequately trained in first aid when medical care isn't close by, and some standards, such as confined-space rescue and electric power line work, specifically call for CPR. Many employers include CPR and AED training in their first aid program for that reason.
